This 2009 album by Sister Savage displays a lot of faces, or maybe a lot of masques as well. The “bored housewife” has a playful approach but is also not afraid to bare deeper feelings, or at least go on searching for them. The music here ranges from closet acoustic songwriter songs to avant classical and Savage is backed by several different artists who appear regularly on Internet musician sites like alonetone.com in addition to her one-woman tracks, infusing a wild diversity to Savage’s new beat poetry milieu.
